The number one reason we took our road trip down to Provo, UT was to attend Sydney’s baptism on Saturday December 5th in Mapleton. She had turned 8 on November 29. The service was at the Stake Center and she had two other girls her age baptized with her. There was a big crowd there and her dad was the one who baptized her. I served as one of the witnesses and her cousin was the other. After the baptism she was confirmed with her dad again performing the ordinance. After the service we all went to Mimi’s for brunch with more presents and lots of food. There seems to be a theme developing here.
